- MODIFICATION 01: THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR UNDER N00164-10-C-GS68. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division intends to award a sole source Fixed-Price modification to Exide Technologies under Contract N00164-10-C-GS68 for design of experiment improvement efforts and cells for VRLA batteries. This requirement will be solicited in accordance with the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(3), as implemented by FAR 6.302-3, industrial mobilization. The Contractor must be properly registered in the Government ™s Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to receive an award. Offerors may obtain information on CCR registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the internet at https:///www.bpn.gov/ccr/. In accordance with FAR 4.1201, the contractor shall also complete electronic annual representations and certifications via the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) website at http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with required registration in the CCR database. Inspection and Acceptance shall be at destination. All items shall be delivered FOB destination. FAR part 13.5 procedures will be used. This notice is a synopsis and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) and it is not a commitment by the U.S. Navy to procure subject items.
