Description
Performance Work Statement NOTIFICATION OF SOLE SOURCE AWARD Defense Human Resources Activity (DHRA) intends to award a contract on a sole source basis for Commercial Travel Office (CTO) services to the following contractor, respectively: • Omega World Travel, Inc. (3102 Omega Office Park, Fairfax VA, 22031-2400) Travel Area : Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) This contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This is a bridge contract against the current expiring contract with a Period of Performance from 1 October 2011through 30 September 2012. This will allow the Government enough time to plan for the recompete contract during this time. DHRA requires travel management and related services in support of the Defense Travel Management Office (DTMO). These services will support the official travel activities of authorized Department of Defense (DoD) travelers whose duty station is within the referenced Travel Area. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any party that believes it is capable of meeting the requirements stated in the attached PWS may submit a written capability statement that clearly supports and demonstrates their ability to perform the requirements. Capability statements must be received by the response date and time of this notice (see below). Submissions will be reviewed to determine if they can meet the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This procurement is being conducted under negotiated procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 15. Please see the attached PWS for a description of the requirements.
