Description
W91ZLK-11-T-0369 This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This will be an acquisition under the authority of the test program for commercial items section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996. The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground Installation Contracting Division 4118 Susquehanna Avenue Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-3013, has a requirement to procure the following items: Item: 18 each; SHARP MX-350IN PCL5c, Multi-Function Copier Printer Units, previously leased. Equipment is previously leased equipment the Government is purchasing. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract to SHARP Electronics Corporation. This firm is the current lease holder to the multi-function units and no other source will stratify the Governments requirement. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333315 and the Business Size Standard is 500. All responses received within five (5) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 2:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time, September 8th 2011. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
