- Description
- The NAVSUP, Fleet Logistics Center, in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS) Bremerton, WA is soliciting for a firm, fixed price, supply type contract to be negotiated on a sole source basis with Rix Industries Inc for repair parts and technical services. Rix Industries is the OEM for the existing Low Pressure Air Compressor on board ship and due to compatibility issues, the required items must be procured from the OEM. Place of delivery is PSNS Bremerton, WA. The commercial solicitation will be issued on or about 06 September 201 with a closing date of 09 September 2011, 3pm, Pacific Standard Time. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Proposed contract to be procured in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13.5. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
