- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found at FAR 13 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N66836-11-T-0630. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-53 and DFARS Change Notice 20110725. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.acqnet.gov/far and/www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dfars/index.htm The NAICS code is 44120 and the Small Business Standard is 1000. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns and will be made as a Firm Fixed Price Commercial type contract. The NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center, Jacksonville requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing the following specifications: Build a trailer to allow the movement of the MPFUB around the facility and store out water in the event of inclement weather. This is a newly established boat unit that needs a trailer for the protection of government equipment and to perform maintenance functions as necessary. The trailer is needed due to the location and lay out of where the Maritime Pre Positioning Force Utility Boat (MPFUB) is located. (See Performance Work Statement for line item description, quantity, and unit of issue). Trailer will be utilized by Maritime Pre Positioning Force Utility Boat unit. Delivery Period shall be 90 days from the award of the contract. Boat location is: 550 Raby Avenue, Pensacola, Florida 32509. A Site visit has been scheduled from 10:00 am to 3: pm Monday 12 September- Wednesday 14 September 2011 at the boat location listed above. All interested vendors must attend.
