- This notice is for blood products for use at the Chalmers P. Wylie VAACC. The Chalmers P Wylie VA Ambulatory Care Center, (VAACC) located in Columbus, Ohio intends to negotiate a sole source contract with American Red Cross of Greater Columbus, 995 East Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43205, (614) 253-2740 The contract type contemplated is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. This is to be awarded as a new contract for the needed items. The contract with be for (1) one year with (4) four option years. The government plans to solicit and make an award for this requirement to only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 41 U.S.C. 253 (1). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. No Solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Office within 5 calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability and qualifications of the firm to provide these services. If no responses are received, the Chalmers P Wylie VA Ambulatory Care Center, (VAACC) will proceed with this will with this action. Additional information regarding this notice may be requested from Contracting Specialist Dana R.
