Description
Notice_Seismic Analyzer This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a portable seismic property analyzer, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation only; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined Synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is 21-11-391PFS152 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13. Description: A portable seismic property analyzer with the following characteristics: • Portable system with computer • High frequency impact source that generate seismic waves • System includes two accelerometers the receive the generated seismic waves • Built in electronics that controls the operation of impact source and receivers • Uses seismic waves to non-destructively evaluate concrete pavement and other structures • Utilizes the ultrasonic and spectral analysis of surface wave method to determine properties of the top pavement layer • Utilizes the impact echo to determine layer thicknesses, detect voids, cracks and zones of deterioration • Controlled and electronically operated by an external computer using the preloaded PSPA manager software • Waveforms and other measured parameters are displayed and recorded in the PSPA manager software • Onsite or in-situ estimate of layer properties as well as detailed analysis can be done in the office using the software The portable seismic property analyzer to be delivered to: US Coast Guard Academy 15 Mohegan Ave New London, CT 06320 Technical questions may be directed to: Prof Hudson Jackson @860-444-8315 Quotations must be submitted electronically to: David Palacios via email @ david.f.palacios@uscg.mil or Faxed Attn: David Palacios @ (860) 444-8316 Ensure to reference the solicitation number when submitting your quote.
