Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Submit only written quotations for RFQ FA4800-11-T-0014. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. The associated NAICS code is 238210 with a $14M size standard. The line item description is VIDEO IMAGE CONTROL AND DISPLAY SYSTEM (VICADS) Personal Viewer Work Station. The primary contractor shall develop a solution to include ordering, shipping, and installation of equipment. The contractor shall ensure at a minimum the VICADS work station to be installed into the area for viewing and control of the base wide VICADS cameras. The customer assumes the responsibility to provide power, NIPRNet access, all networks addressing to connect the computer to the VICADS server and a location for the computer to be installed. All hardware and software necessary for operability of aforementioned requirements shall be operationally checked and validated by the contractor. The contractor shall provide cut sheets on equipment used in the proposals for evaluation. The contractor shall integrate new VICADS equipment and PC based collaborative software/equipment with current equipment (Samsung Plasma Television, Model # LN52A550P3FXZA Ver. SQ01, 3 Each with articulating wall mount), where feasible. The contractor shall develop solutions with new equipment, if the current equipment cannot function with the VICADS. Available computers are configured for the United State Air Force (USAF) network. The contractor shall integrate the VICADS with existing computer systems, if feasible. Where this requirement is not feasible the contractor must identify specific equipment or provide specific equipment for purchase by the customer. All wiring shall be hidden from view; all equipment shall be securely mounted, when necessary. The contractor shall provide cut sheets, diagrams/schematics and wiring/cabling on all equipment installed. Please call to arrange a site visit prior to the closing date. (a) A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Before the offer's specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer), whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award.
