Description
(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) HE343013701725, Request For Quote (RFQ) is issued with no Set-Aside. (iii) Applicable NAICS code to the below line items is 519130. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Description of services needed: DoDDS-E requires an online website that covers multiple aspects of multiple curriculum-based content that support educators and engages students for the below DoDDS-E school districts. Resources must include movies, quizzes, experiments, timelines, activity pages, and more covering hundreds of topics within Math, Science, Social Studies, English, Technology, Arts & Music, and Health. All content must be aligned to and searchable by state standards. Content must be able to introduce new lessons or topics as well as illustrate complex subject matter for review before testing. Content must be easily searchable by standard. Product must be fully compatible with interactive whiteboards, learner response systems, projectors, macs and pcs. No downloading installation or special hardware can be required. Requirement must be usable on first day of contract award. Kaiserslautern: Approx 7,838 Students in 15 Schools. Isles: Approx 5,200 Students in 12 Schools. Heidelberg: Approx 3,660 Students in 6 Schools. Note: This RFQ is a brand name or equal requirement to the stated model(s) with respect to functionality and capability. Vendors must demonstrate via literature, stating specifics why other brand name items would be equal to the make and models requested. Please provide quotes with pricing detailed as follows: ITEM NO: Quantity: Unit: Description 0001: Brainpop for Kaiserslautern (Brand Name or Equal), Base Year 1 Lot consisting of: One (1) year of service for the DoDDS-E Kaiserslautern school district with approximately 7,838 Students in 15 Schools. 1001: Option Year 1, Brainpop for Kaiserslautern (Brand Name or Equal) 1 Lot consisting of: One (1) year of service for the DoDDS-E Kaiserslautern school district with approximately 7,838 Students in 15 Schools. 2001: Option Year 2, Brainpop for Kaiserslautern (Brand Name or Equal) 1 Lot consisting of: One (1) year of service for the DoDDS-E Kaiserslautern school district with approximately 7,838 Students in 15 Schools. 0002: Brainpop for Isles (Brand Name or Equal), Base Year 1 Lot consisting of: One (1) year of service for the DoDDS-E Isles school district with approximately,200 Students in 12 Schools. 1002: Option Year 1, Brainpop for Isles (Brand Name or Equal) 1 Lot consisting of: One (1) year of service for the DoDDS-E Isles school district with approximately 5,200 Students in 12 Schools. 2002: Option Year 2, Brainpop for Isles (Brand Name or Equal) 1 Lot consisting of: One (1) year of service for the DoDDS-E Isles school district with approximately 5,200 Students in 12 Schools. 0003: Brainpop for Heidelberg (Brand Name or Equal), Base Year 1 Lot consisting of: One (1) year of service for the DoDDS-E Heidelberg school district with approximately 3,660 Students in 6 Schools. 1003: Option Year 1, Brainpop for Heidelberg (Brand Name or Equal) 1 Lot consisting of: One (1) year of service for the DoDDS-E Heidelberg school district with approximately 3,660 Students in 6 Schools. 2003: Option Year 2, Brainpop for Heidelberg (Brand Name or Equal) 1 Lot consisting of: One (1) year of service for the DoDDS-E Heidelberg school district with approximately 3,660 Students in 6 Schools. ------------------------------------------------------------------- (iv) Period of Performance: One (1) Base year and two (2) option years starting upon contract award. (v) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offers may be submitted by email or faxed to the designated point of contact. (vi) Vendors must be registered and active in Contractor Central Registration (CCR) http://www.ccr.gov/. (vii) Award will be made to the responsible vendor with low priced technically acceptable quote that meets the required furniture/equipment. Award is all or none basis. FAR 52.211-6, BRAND NAME OR EQUAL (AUG 1999), FAR 52.225-17, EVALUATION OF FOREIGN CURRENCY OFFERS (FEB 2000), and FAR 52.217-9, OPTION TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE CONTRACT also applies to this RFQ. Note: The applicable exchange rate will be obtained from the published rate by the US Federal Reserve Bank. (viii) Offeror has to include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, and DFARS 252.212-7000, OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS--COMMERCIAL ITEMS (JUN 2005), with its offer. (ix) Clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
