N40083-11-R-0017, Design/Build Construction Contract BLDG. 200H DEMO AT NAVAL STATION GREAT LAKES, GREAT LAKES, ILLOINIS On or about SEPTEMBER 23, 2011 a solicitation for DEMO BLDG. 200H AT NAVAL STATION, GREAT LAKES, IL will be posted on FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov). This procurement is 100% set-a side for competitive Small Business. No geographic restrictions apply. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 238910, with a size standard of $14.0 million. The Government's objective is to obtain all labor, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary for Design-Build Demolition of a Naval Health Clinic, Bldg. 200H, Naval Station Great Lakes, Great Lakes, IL. This is a two-step design/build construction project and the solicitation will result in one contract award. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. No prior contract information exists. The estimated total contract value is between $15,000,000 and $18,000,000. A Bid bond will be required at time of proposal. Performance and payment bonds will be required upon contract award. This project will be awarded as a firm-fixed price contract. The Government reserves the right to enter into negotiations or limit the competitive range. All interested Small Business firms must have bonding capability.
