Description

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) intends to negotiate a sole source acquisition with Rightthing LLC for renewal of AIRS SourcePoint 3 User License. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source in accordance wtih FAR 6.302-circumstances permitting other than full and open competition. This procurement action will result in a firm-fixed price purchase order one year with 2 one year options. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. Rightthing LLC is the only source that can provide AIRS SourcePoint software. No solicitation document is available. The FERC will consider all affirmative response no later than 5 calendar days after publication of this notice. Affirmative response shall be accompanied by sufficient documentation to cearly show how it would be advantageous to the Government to switch providers for this service, software cost, and training for employees, contingencies, and professional environment. A request for information will not be considered an affirmative response. If no affirmative written response is received that clearly demonstrates the ability to meet all the requirements and is more advantageous to the Government, the FERC intends to negotiate a sole source award to Rightthing LLC. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
