- Site Visit Slide Presentation 7 Sept 11 This is posted to provide Questions and Answers about the RFQ. Also the presentation from the site visit will be posted on this notice. PLEASE NOTE NO ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS WILL BE ENTERTAINED. 1. What type of menu boards are at the Crossbow and Raptor dining facilities? 1.1.4.1. Answer: Chalkboard and electronic. 2. Does the contractor have to put away subsistence? 1.1.4.2 Answer: 1.1.4.2 does not address putting away subsistence 3. How many lavatories are in each facility? 1.1.7.4 Answer: Crossbow has four and the Raptor Cafe has three 4. How many different light bulbs are required in facilities? 1.1.7.6 Answer: Four different types 5. How many people can the Gazebo Room hold? Answer: 200 6. How many times during past year have contract cooks been used? 1.1.12.1 Answer: One 7. What would be the difference in 1.1 Description of Services Contractors task serving and replenishing food and 1.1.12.2.1 Contract line servers? 1.1.12.2 Answer: 1.1. Serving and replenishing of food pertains to making coffee, replenishing pastry items, filling milk display cabinet, etc. IT DOES NOT REFER TO SERVING ON THE SERVING LINE UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED IN THE SOW. 1.1.12.2.1 and 1.1.12.2 pertains to line servers that would be needed during a contingency otherwise there is no need for line servers other than what is required in the SOW pertaining to the Raptor Café. If we require line servers at the Crossbow dining facility 1.1.12.2.1 the government will provide the contractor a three day notice. 8. Where will contractor requisition required supply amounts from? 1.2.23.4 Answer: The contractor can choose whoever they want to do business with, some choices would be Sysco, Unisource, Ecolab, etc. 9. Is that correct supples can only be ordered once a week? Answer: The contractor can choose when to order but they must COMPLY with the items listed in the SOW. 10. What happens if contractor runs out of requirement of supplies? 5c Answer: The contractor will not run out of supplies, the monthly/weekly usage factors are factual. 11. What happens if 5c required supply amounts are not needed? 5c Answer: If the items are not needed, on hand inventory shows ample supplies are on hand then the contractor will not need to ordere supplies. 12. Where are the item numbers for listed supplies from? 5c Answer: Initially the item numbers were listed but they were removed to ensure no endorsement of any one supplier. 13. Is contractor not responsible for purchase and maintaining supplies? Answer: The contractor is responsible for purchaseing and maintaining supplies. 14. Does the Government handle the maintenance of Government equipment? Answer: There is NO contract maintenance of government equipment in the SOW. 15. Has new CBA for FY12 been submitted for effective 1 Oct? Answer: No 16. Will contract be modified for new wages and Health and Welfare changes 1 Oct? Answer: Equitable adjustments will be allowed when approved and incorporated by contracting officer. 17. Is a vehicle needed to perform this contract? Answer: There is NO mention of a vehicle in the SOW. 18. Will contract due date be extened due to additional questions being asked from site visit? Answer: NO 19. On response to question #1 (posted on 8 Sept 11) are servers required at either facility when not in contingency? No But in your response to questions #5 and #12, it seems to state that there are line serving. #5. During UTA weekends are servers required at Crossbow fir all meals, or just lunch? Servers will be required for Breakfast and Lunch. #12. Is food serving at the Crossbow Dining Facility a requirement? Yes Answer: 1.1. Serving and replenishing of food pertains to making coffee, replenishing pastry items, filling milk display cabinet, etc. IT DOES NOT REFER TO SERVING ON THE SERVING LINE UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED IN THE SOW. 1.1.12.2.1 and 1.1.12.2 pertains to line servers that would be needed during a contingency otherwise there is no need for line servers other than what is required in the SOW pertaining to the Raptor Café. If we require line servers at the Crossbow dining facility 1.1.12.2.1 the government will provide the contractor a three day notice. 20. On response to question #9 (posted on 8 Sept 11) 1.1.3 It states that during Contingency the contractor will perform serving & replenishment of food. On 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 it states that the contractor already performs this duty. Which is correct? under 1.1.1, 1.1.2, and 1.1.3 the contrctor is responsible for "serving and replenishing food". Clarification: Will the CLINS for CLIN 6 contingency line servers be utilized to meet this requirement? Answer: No CLIN 6 will only be used for contingency line servers as per the soliciatation. 21. During normal Dining Facility serving time is the contractor responsible for serving the food or is the US Air Force at both Crossbow and Raptor Cafe? We ask this question based on the response to the Q&A question 1 (posted on 8 Sept 11) states that no servers are required at either facility, then question 12 states yes serving would be required at Crossbow. Please clarify if the contractor provides line service at Crossbow and Raptor during normal serving hours Mon-Sun. Answer: 1.1. Serving and replenishing of food pertains to making coffee, replenishing pastry items, filling milk display cabinet, etc. IT DOES NOT REFER TO SERVING ON THE SERVING LINE UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED IN THE SOW. 1.1.12.2.1 and 1.1.12.2 pertains to line servers that would be needed during a contingency otherwise there is no need for line servers other than what is required in the SOW pertaining to the Raptor Café.
