Description

This is combined synopsis/solicitation VA-856-11-RQ-1143 for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Quotations are to be submitted utilizing Standard Form 1449, Solicitation VA-256-11-RQ-1143 (attached). A quotation in response to this notice must be received not later than 4:00pm CDT, 26 September 2011. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-52. This procurement is being set aside 100% for veteran owned small businesses. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 485991 Special Needs Passenger Transportation Services; the size standard is $7 Million. The Government intends to issue a firm fixed price contract
