Description

FBO - Intent To Sole Source Notice Narrative09/13/2011 The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System intends to negotiate via a sole source basis with Toulson Enterprises LLC, 12138 Central Ave STE #335, Mitchellville, MD 20721 for data/cable services to furnish equipment and installation at the Ambulatory Care Center (#71) at Heinz Medical Center and Consolidation Building (#29) at UD Medical Center. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-5(a)(b), Authorized or Required by Statute. Toulson Enterprises has prior experience and familiarity with the three medical center campuses, infrastructure, cable paths and cabling requirements. In addition, Toulson Enterprises meet all new Public Law 109-461 regulations with regard to service-disabled veteran owned small businesses and veteran owned small businesses (VOSBs). This notice of intent is not for competitive quotes. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number is 238210. This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document is available. However, parties may express their interest accompanied by supporting literature by email to John Barton, Contract Specialist, no later than September 19, 2011 at 09:00 a.m. EST. Responses should be sent to johnny.barton@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. Information received will be for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement or proceed with sole source negotiations. The determination to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the VAPHS Contracting Officer.
