- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE SPORTS OFFICIATING SERVICES This is a Request for Information (RFI) for sources sought that can provide sports officiating services aboard the Camp Lejeune, North Carolina Complex. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. INTRODUCTION This notice is to determine interested parties that can provide sports officiating services for games in various locations aboard the Camp Lejeune, North Carolina Complex. Games to officiate include intramural sports, youth sports, varsity sports, and certain other sports programs managed by MCCS, Camp Lejeune. 2. BACKGROUND MCCS Camp Lejeune is responsible for providing sporting activities and events of various units aboard the Camp Lejeune Complex. As a result, these sporting events require officiating services in order to maintain good order, sportsmanship, accountability and fairness. The Government does not have the required expertise, personnel or resources such as certifications and equipment, to properly officiate these sporting events. Therefore, an outside vendor, or contractor, must be contacted to perform the services for sports officiating. 3. SCOPE The Contractor shall furnish a sufficient number of qualified supervisory, administrative, and sports official personnel to accomplish all contract requirements. Contractor employees shall wear neat and clean clothing when performing contract requirements. Contractor employees must be identified by having company and employee name on or a tag/badge attached to chest area of the uniform. Dates for officiating services will be scheduled between the Contractor and the Government point of contact. Beginning of services for the base period will be within 7 days after notification of contact award. Officiating services for subsequent option periods shall be scheduled throughout the period of performance year, 01 October thru 30 September of the following year. The Government anticipates issuing a solicitation for a base year and four option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the Government.
