Description
Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, NC hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Coastal Carolina Community College, 444 Western Blvd, Jacksonville, NC under the authority of FAR 7.302-1(a)(iii), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This requirement is for the following education training course to take place on Camp Lejeune. CLIN 0001: EMT Basic Continuing Education Course, 39 hrs, QTY 139 Students CLIN 0002: Advanced Life Support Continuing Education Course, 15 hrs, QTY 31 Students CLIN 0003: American Heart Association Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation, QTY 31 Students CLIN 0004: American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Course QTY 31 Students CLIN 0005: Pediatric Advanced Life Support Course, 16 hours, QTY 31 Students CLIN 0006: International Life Support Course, 16 Hours, QTY 31 Students CLIN 0007: Pediatric Education for Pre-hospital Providers Course, 16 Hours, QTY 31 Students CLIN 0008: FIP 4728 Fire and Rescue Continuing Education Course, 39 Hours, QTY 158 Students The training will take place for a period of twelve months after date of contract. In accordance with Article K of the Onslow County Emergency Systems Plan, Coastal Carolina Community College is the designated institute for this training. Due to operational commitments of the Camp Lejeune Fire Department, a provider must be located within a 10 mile radius of Camp Lejeune to provide flexibility in training dates. A formal solicitation was not developed, however an informal request for proposal will be provided upon request. Interested firms may submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement. All responsible sources may submit a response which if timely received, will be considered by the agency. Responses must be received at the contracting office no later than 9:00 A.M.
