- RFQ Letter Justification and Approval Needs List This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement and its attachments compose the only solicitation. The solicitation number is DCCMC10521 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The associated North American Industrial Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811212 with an associated small business size standard of $25M. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business. This acquisition is firm-fixed-price (FFP) and solicited on a brand name basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. Configuration and compatibility issues justify the use of brand names. Only IBM AUTHORIZED RESELLERS may submit a quote. New equipment ONLY, NO remanufactured products, and NO "gray market." Quote must be good for 30 days after due date. Quote per specifications requested in attached spreadsheet. Quote is to include all fees, including shipping or freight costs. Items will be shipped to arrive 30 days after contract award. Shipping Address: DISA, ATTN: Yohance Duff, 6910 Cooper Ave., Ft. Meade, MD 20755-7088. The Government will award to the small business with the lowest price, technically acceptable quote based on specifications provided. Upon acceptance of this award your company certifies it is an IBM Authorized Reseller that has the certification/specialization level required by IBM to support both the product sale and product pricing, in accordance with the applicable IBM certification/specialization requirements. Your company shall warrant that the products are new, in their original box. Your company confirms to have sourced all IBM products submitted in this offer from IBM, in accordance with all applicable laws and policies at the time of purchase. In order for your quote to be considered, please send with your quotes any software, subscription, and maintenance licenses or agreements which may be required for this contract. Quotes submitted without all necessary documentation will NOT be considered. If an item in the purchase request has been discontinued, is end-of-life, or is otherwise unclear, offerors may electronically contact Brian Bilenki at brian.bilenki@disa.mil or micahel.jackson2@disa.mil so the RFQ posting can be amended. Any questions regarding this RFQ shall be submitted to Brian Bilenki via e-mail no later than 12:00PM EST on 20 September 2011. All quotes must be submitted electronically to brian.bilenki@disa.mil and michael.jackson2@disa.mil no later than 12:00 PM EST on 21 September 2011. Any amendment(s) issued to this RFQ will be published on this website. Therefore, it is the offeror's responsibility to visit this website frequently for updates on this procurement.
