Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a twelve (12) month firm fixed price contract for IBM z/OS 390 software maintenance and Lifecycle Extensions renewals for the Hines and Philadelphia Information Technology Centers (ITCs). This market research is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Government is looking for sources who can provide the following: The proposed action is to provide twelve (12) month software maintenance renewals for the IBM z/OS 390 software products installed on the Hines and Philadelphia ITCs IBM mainframe systems. The Hines ITC IBM mainframe system is Model Z10 2098-BO3. The base operating systems software for this mainframe is the IBM z/OS Version 1.9 software and the OS/390 Group 40 software.
