- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the government. The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for Dental Hygienist Services for inmates at the Federal Prison Camp in Pensacola, FL. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 621399 (Size Standard: $7.0 million). The government contemplates awarding of an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contract with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the future solicitation. All duties shall be performed in accordance with standards and methods generally accepted within the field of Dental Hygiene and in compliance with all Federal and State policy and regulations. The contractor shall be familiar with all standards and regulations associated with the Joint Commission (JCAHO) and American Correctional Association Foundation/Core Standards for Adult Correctional Institutions. The primary schedule is Monday through Friday between 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., not to exceed 30 hours per week. The contractor must have graduated from an accredited school or program, must have a Florida state license/certification in the field of dental/oral hygiene, and be certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in accordance with the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association. The individual performing the services must maintain a current radiology certification and have two (2) years of current experience as a Dental Hygienist. The contract period will consist of a 12-month base period with four 12 month option periods for renewal. A government solicitation document to provide these services is being developed and a contract may or may not result. Market Research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, the government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the government. The Market Survey Questionnaire will be available on or about September 16, 2011, and will be distributed solely through General Service Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. This site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation and/or amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organization can submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The response date for the market survey is September 23, 2011. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone request or written requests for the Market Survey will be accepted.
