- The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Eastern Regional Research Center, Food Safety and Intervention Technologies (FSIT) Research Unit in Wyndmoor, intends to negotiate solely with Duont Qualicon in Wilmington, DE to furnish, deliver (FOB) Destination PCR Assay Kits for Screening. The screening kit consist of : 138 each of BAX® System PCR Assay for Screening L. Monocytogenes (96 tests) (D11000157). These BAX test kits will be used with the BAX Q7 instrument. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 (current as of FAC 2005-53), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS is 334516. The Solicitation number is 108-0065 and is issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). Companies with the demonstrated capability of providing this equipment must submit a descriptive statement, including descriptive literature, specifically addressing the equipment=s component=s and availability. In the event multiple quotes are received, the quotes will be evaluated on the basis of lowest price, technically acceptable. In order to be considered technically acceptable, the item must meet specifications and compatibility requirements. The statement and literature must be submitted to the Contracting Office Address within 5 days of publication of this notice. This is not a request for proposal. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE.
