Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Augusta, GA, VISN 7, contemplates negotiation of a sole source procurement with GE Health Care, a division of the General Electric Company, 3000 N Grandview Boulevard, Waukesha, WI, for the De-installation, moving, re-installation and calibration of the GE CT Scanner VCT 64 Slice, SN #0001320143, Site ID # 843789VCT, EE # 166499 at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center Charleston, SC. The Period of Performance for this procurement will be September 30, 2011 through September 29, 2012. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 238290 with a standard size of $14 million. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 2 days after publication of this synopsis. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting literature, detailing how their products/services meet VA requirements, to the Contracting Officer or by fax 478-274-5609. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract is based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
