- Description This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 in conjunction with FAR Subpart 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being accepted and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3P3BK1215A004 issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-53. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 721110 and the size standard is $30,000,000.00. The requirement is solicited on an unrestricted basis; any qualified, responsible offeror may submit a quote in accordance with the Description of Services, below. The resultant award will be a Firm-Fixed-Price contract based on price and compliance with the technical specifications of the requirement as listed in the Description of Services. 1. Description of Services: CLIN 0001: Provide lodging for FY 12 RAFB Air Show October 27th thru 30th, 2011. QTY: 100 rooms for four nights. Interested contractors must submit a single price on a room-per-night basis. If there is a price difference between single and double rooms; provide both prices per night. Hotel must be within ten miles of the Randolph AFB front gate. Offerors must be willing to be inspected by Base Lodging, Public Health, and fire protection officials, to pass the AF Standards Evaluation criteria. While the current requirement is for 100 rooms, only those rooms which are used during described timeframe may be invoiced against. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being accepted and a written solicitation will not be issued. Offeror's are encouraged to provide the most advantageous pricing in the initial response. Award is anticipated during the first week of October, 2011. The resultant single award shall be placed with the offeror that represents the best value to the Government. 2. Basis of Award: Award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Evaluation procedures in FAR Part 13.106-2 will be utilized. Evaluation criteria is price and compliance terms of the CLIN 0001 description above. 3. The Government will award a single contract resulting from responses to this solicitation to the lowest priced offer that complies with the description of service. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this solicitation, offerors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, NO EXCEPTIONS.
