Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS), Pathology/Laboratory Department has a requirement for OBGYN items. NAICS code 423450 applies with a size standard of 100 employees. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, STVHCS intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Miller & Dickey Medical, Inc. 4098 Cardinal Glen Pl. Oviedo FL 32765-9251. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses received, will be made entirely at the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. All information shall be furnished at a no cost or obligation to the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The solicitation due date is September 28, 2011 12:00 p.m. Local Time.
