Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-25. This is an unrestricted solicitation. Contractors must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for award. Register at www.ccr.gov. Applicable NAICS code is 333319. See below for description of item requested. Award will be made to the lowest offeror whose product meet the government's minimum needs. Provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. 52.252-2 Clauses Incorporated by Reference, 52.204-7 CCR, 52.209-6 Protecting the Government's Interest when Subcontracting with Contractors Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment, 52.212-3 Alt I Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. and 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. DFARS 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items is applicable to include: 252.203-7000 Requirements Relating to Compensation of Former DoD Officials, 252.232-7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Requests, and 252.247-7023 Transportation of Supplies by Sea. **The following must be furnished with the quotation: 1. Acoustic output: 85 to 105 db spl at 20 ft 10hz to 20 khz. Dimensions 16x4x4 in (working module); weight: 6 lbs (working module). Power requirements: 120 volt 50/60hz amp The simulator must accept three different gases that are regulated while firing. The gases are oxygen, propane, and most importantly nitrogen. The simulator must be set up for 12 volt DC and 120 volt AC current. The simulator must be adaptable to fire from a fixed platform and a mobile platform (Example, technical truck)
