- The 355th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a sole-source procurement action with Stanley Security Systems for the procurement of the following items: All materials, labor, tools, and transportation needed to furnish the following: MATERIALS 1. Stanley-Best 1C7Q-626 1C Standard Core Qty: 32 each 2. 32 Position Security Access Manager, model: K1C18227B032G Qty: 1 each 3. Integrated Fingerprint Reader, model: 2690374 Qty: 1 each 4. Fingerprint Enrollment Station, model: 2690380 Qty: 1 each 5. Labor/Installation REQUIREMENT NARRATIVE Purchase of Security Access Manager (SAM), keybox and biometric access system. This system is used in securing the master keys for 9 dormitories. System must be able fully compatable with the new Stanley Card Swipe system curently being installed in a new dormatory building, and be compatable to the existing Stanley lock core hardware being used currently in the old dormitories. This requirement is conducted under FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Requirement. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms who want to challenge the sole source must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm's ability to provide an equivalent supply as described above. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered. DEADLINE FOR RESPONSE All interested firms must respond to this Special Notice (FA4877-11-Q-0651) by Thursday, 29 September 2011, 4:00pm PST to TSgt Wolfe, 355th Contracting Squadron, 3180 S Craycroft Rd. Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, AZ 85707. At E-mail Jason.Wolfe@dm.af.mil, Phone (520) 228-4838 or Fax (520) 228-5462. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The 355th Contracting Office will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing the capability information.
