Description

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), Arlington, Virginia, intends to award a sole source purchase order for a subscription for online access to all titles included in the Associated Computing Machinery (ACM) digital library with a 24 month period of performance effective 14 October 2011 to 13 October 2013. This is a sole source for the acquisition of commercial items in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.1. There is currently no research support services digital library in place at DARPA. Having ACM provide the subscription service to DARPA will ensure DARPA's successful ongoing research efforts. This announcement constitutes the only synopsis for this requirement and is issued for notification purposes only. Any interested party should contact the below named for more information regarding this posting; all correspondence shall be received no later than 11 October 2011 at 4:00pm EST. Award will be conducted under the provisions of FAR Subpart 12.1, Acquisition of Commercial Items. All responsible sources may submit a proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
