- Description
- The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis under FAR 6.302-1 for needed modifications and enhancements to software, GPS navigation, and hardware installed into SMARTCARs undera previous DEA purchase order. The modifications inovle proprietary and patent pending materails, and the intended contractor has the most intimate knowledge of the SMARTCAR vehicles and systems, as they have been involved in the installation and modification of the equipment for the past several months. No solicitation documents are available and requests for such will not be acknowledged. The determination regarding competition is solely within the discretion of the Government. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. The Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website within fourteen (14) days of award.
