Description
NAICS CODE: 334516PSC: 6665The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Superfund Regional Procurement Operations Division, intends to award a sole source firm-fixed priced purchase order for an E-BAM Mass Monitor pursuant to FAR Part 6.302-1, Only One Reasonable Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, to Met One Instruments Incorporated, 1600 NW Washington Boulevard, Grants Pass, Oregon 97526-1052. The E-BAM Mass Monitor has the following specifications: Specifications Range 0-10mg per cubic meterAccuracy 2.5?g in 24 hour periodMeasurement Cycle standard at 60 minutes, actual sampling time 59 minutesBeta Source C14, less than 75 microcurie, Half life of 5730 yearsDetector Scintillation probeAnalog Output 0-1V, 0-5V, 0-10V selectable, 12 bit accuracyFilter Tape Continuous glass fiber filterInlet PM 10 impactor type Flow Rate 16.7 liters per minute, adjustableFlow Accuracy +/- 3% of reading, volumetric flow controlledSample Pump Dual diaphragm type internally mountedAlarm Signals Filter, flow, power and operation failureInput Power 12 volts DC at 36 Watts, 25⁰ CAlarm Contact Closure 2 Amp at 240 VACOperating Temperature -30 Deg C to 40 Deg C This specific monitor has been requested to allow for successful integration with the Agency?s existing data communications system. The benefit to the Government to purchase this specific monitor is both financial and time related. Any other monitor purchased, would render the existing data communications system inoperable and thus cause the Government to incur additional expenses in procuring a new system, training, etc. The intended order is in the amount of $65,793.60. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE IS AVAILABLE FOR THIS PROCUREMENT.
