Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Hudson Valley Health Care System Montrose Campus hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Old Dominion Brush Company, Inc. (ODB), 5118 Glen Alden Dr., Richmond, VA 23231 as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-(b), soliciting from a single source to satisfy agency requirements. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. Capability statements received by the response date of this announcement may be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. ODB will provide the following: Vacuum collector (Model SCL800SM 3X, John Deere) installed onto a Freightliner M2-106V CAB and Chassis, BE Series, 3-Axis Hydraulic Hose Boom with in cab controls, light bar behind cab. Firms responding to this notice are asked to provide the following information in their initial response: company's full name, business size, address, point of contact, and a clear indication as to whether or not they can provide the item the government is seeking. Firms shall include the name of comparable system and provide enough product literature to determine compliance with all salient characteristics identified above. Responses are due by 2:00 PM, Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), on Wednesday, September 28, 2011.
