Description: The Government intends to issue a sole source contract to Meggitt Training Systems under solicitation N00189-11-T-0562. This requirement is for the procurement of 1 base year with 4 option years of FATS (Fire Arms Training System) warranty service for virtual military training, including one site visit. Delivery to Naval Surface Forces, Norfolk, VA 23511. Required by October 20, 2011. This requirement will be procured in accordance with Simplified Acquisition procedures. The NAICS code is 541512. This office will no longer issue a hard copy of the Request for Quote (RFQ); therefore, a copy can be obtained from website http://www.neco.navy.mil. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that prospective awardees must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this RFQ, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
