Description
The purpose of this requirement is to seek a qualified contractor to provide all labor, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to provide complete audio-visual services at a reduced labor rate and parts. Contractor is to provide annual test, maintenance, inspection and service of various elements of the audio-visual equipment at the Potomac Consolidated TRACON, located at 3699 MacIntosh Drive, Warrenton, Virginia This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside offered to all qualified, responsive concerns. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to award this contract by October 31, 2011. The period of performance is estimated to begin on/or about 1 November 2011 through 30 September 2012. All companies submitting a proposal must be currently registered and active in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Data Base at http://www.ccr.gov before an award can be made. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334210, Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing, the size standard is $20.5 Million. Offfers are due on October 18, 2011 by 3:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time). Email all offers to charlie.peppers@faa.gov or mail to the appropriate address listed in the solicitation by the due date. "This notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-own concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available uner the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at the prime interest rate to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
