Description
An Industry Day for the Family of Concealable Body Armor (FoCBA) effort will be held on 25 October 2011 in the Belvoir Room at the Fort Belvoir Officer's Club, 5500 Schultz Circle #20, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060-6102 starting at 9:00 am EST. Interested vendors must RSVP to Ms. Terri Quick at theresa.s.quick.civ@mail.mil by 4:00pm EST on 21 October 2011 and provide the name(s) of those attending on their behalf. Attendees must be U.S. citizens. Each company is allowed a maximum of three (3) attendees due to limited space. We will not be able to accommodate any reservations that come in after the stated date/time. Reservations are available on a first-come, first-served basis or until capacity has been met. All interested attendees will have the option to schedule a one-on-one breakout meeting with ACC-APG/PEO Soldier as well. Breakout sessions will occur after the opening remarks have been completed and will last no more than fifteen (15) minutes per company. The schedule of breakout meetings will be determined by the Government and cannot be changed or altered. Please plan to attend the Industry Day from 10:00am through 4:00pm as the breakout meeting schedule will not be provided until 24 October 2011. Access to Fort Belvoir for non-CAC holders: All visitors must check in at the Tulley Gate Visitor Center. Directions to Tulley Gate from From Washington DC (1-95 South) * If you are traveling south on 1-95, take the Fairfax Parkway/Backlick Road (7100) exit 166 A. * Take the Fairfax County Parkway to its end at U.S. Rt. 1 (Richmond Highway.) * Turn left. * At the first light, on the right, is the entrance for Tulley Gate on to Fort Belvoir. * This is the main entrance to the post and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. * All visitors to Fort Belvoir without DOD decals on their vehicles must use Tulley Gate. Directions to Tulley Gate from Richmond (1-95 North) * If you are traveling north on 1-95 North, take the Fort Belvoir Exit 161 B. (U.S. Rt 1 -- Richmond Highway) * You will travel five miles to Fort Belvoir. * Continue through the light at the Fairfax County Parkway (VA 7100). At the next stop light, on the right side you will see the entrance for Tulley Gate, turn right. Post map will be provided upon registration.
