Description: Zion National Park, Watchman Restrooms. This solicitation will be available at https://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about October 20, 2011. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. THE WORK OF THIS CONTRACT CONSISTS OF DEMOLITION OF FOUR RESTROOMS, AND BUILDING THREE NEW ONES. The work is located at Zion National Park, Washington County, Utah. The National Park Service anticipates entering into a firm firxed price contract with a performance period of 180 calendar days for the construction of the first two restrooms, and additional time to be determined for the building of the third restroom, dependent on funding. This solicitation is set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns. The NAICS code for this project is 236220 with a small business size standard of $33.5 million. In accordance with FAR Section 36.204, the estimated price range is between $5000,000 and $1,000,000. Contractors are urged to visit the site for a complete understanding of existing work conditions. An organized site visit is scheduled for: OCTOBER 25TH, 2011 AT 11:00 A.M. MOUNTAIN TIME, AT ZION NATIONAL PARK. The meeting location for the site visit is to the north east of the visitor center. The Government will not accept an offer for award on the basis of superior capability without concern for the price of the offer.
