- New Manufactured Material: A firm fixed price type contract iscontemplated. The items, estimated quantities and required deliveriesare as follows: CLIN 0001: NSN: 1560-01-536-9703, P/N: 527-14927-1;NOUN: Tab, Trim, Aircraft APPLICATION: KC-135, CURRENT QTY: 30;DELIVERY: 30 each delivered by 31 May 2011. AMC: 2G IDIQ Contract with a 3 Year Ordering Period, BEQ is 82 for the total 3year requirement, Minimum Order Quantity is 7 each and Maximum OrderQuantity is 41 each, with a Total Contract Maximum of 123 each. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directlyfrom the requestors are acceptable. Fax Number is (405)739-5493, ATTN:Lyndsey Shirazi Qualification Requirements: Current qualified sources are: Boeing Defense and Space Group (Cage:82918), Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies (orServices) required are available from only one or a limited number ofresponsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services willsatisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is forsupplies in which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate withonly one, or a limited number of sources. Interested persons mayidentify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement orsubmit proposals. Project Rights Guard. Must be Export Controlled Approved. Bonding source must be on approved list. This is a 100% small business set aside. This is a full and open requirement. All proposals received within 45days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered bythe Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete thisproposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely withinthe discretion of the Government. Information received will normally beconsidered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct acompetitive procurement. Based on market research, the Government is not using the policiescontained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in itssolicitation for the described supplies or services. However,interested persons may identify to the contracting officer theirinterest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with acommercial item within 15 days of this notice. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested insubcontracting opportunities in connection with the describedprocurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Specifications, plans,or drawings relating to the procurement described are incomplete or notavailable and cannot be furnished by the Government. Based on market research, the Government is not using the policiescontained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in itssolicitation for the described supplies or services. However,interested persons may identify to the contracting officer theirinterest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with acommercial item within 15 days of this notice. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from Offerors orpotential Offerors during the proposal development phase of thisacquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish theauthority of the program director or contracting officer, but tocommunicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, andrecommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested,the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of theconcern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation ofproposals or in the source selection process.
