Description
Bid 2011-19IJCC Iroquois Job Corps Center Panel and Man Doors Replacement The Iroquois Job Corps Center (IJCC) and Education & Training Resources (ETR); located at 11780 Tibbets Road, Medina NY 14103, Orleans County, are desirous of a certified, bonded, licensed, and fully insured contractor to submit a bid on the project mentioned herein; and if successfully awarded the subject contract, to satisfactorily perform the following work project according to the established criteria contained within same. Prevailing wages do apply to this project. Potential bidders must obtain a Dunn & Bradstreet (DUNS) number to be awarded a federal contract. Potential bidders must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before being awarded a federal contract. Final bids are due to this center, October 20, 2011 at 4:00 PM. The tour will be conducted by the IJCC Maintenance Manager Donald White. All questions must be submitted in writing to McConnell.MaryJo@jobcorps.org Questions will be answered via email. Bidders must provide copy of any New York State applicable licenses, proof of Worker's Compensation, Professional Liability, General Liability of 1 million/1 million each occurrence and DUNS number for bid submission to be considered complete. Bidder must bid on all items for bid to be considered complete. Certified payrolls shall be required. Building #13 - Def. #54640 West Door: 10'-2" x 12' rough opening. 12' floor to ceiling; mounted on wood. South Door: 10' x 10' rough opening. 12' floor to ceiling; mounted on wood. North Door: 10'-2" x 7'-8" rough opening. 9'-1" floor to ceiling; mounted on block. Door standard features to include the following:.016" thick roll-formed hot-dipped galvanized, ribbed face steel sections, with metal/foam/metal sandwich, foamed-in-place homogeneous CFC/HCFC free polyurethane insulation. Insulating values: R=17.50, U=.057 Section thickness 2", all sections to be fitted with tube seals to weather-strip each joint. Air infiltration of.08 cfm per sq. foot of door at 15 mph, and class 26 sound transmission. End stiles will be 16 ga. Steel and incoprporate a thermal break; hinges and fixtures will be galvanized steel. EPDM thermal break to be provided between interior and exterior skins to prevent thermal transmission. Patented water channel is provided for a drip free opening. The polyurethane foam insulation is fully encapsulated in non-permeable materials for no loss of thermal efficiency. Limited 10 year warranty against panel delamination of foam and steel skins. BID PROVISIONS The following Bid Provisions will apply. Failure to carefully read and follow all instructions will not relieve the bidder of any bid provision, and failure to do so will not place ETR/IJCC at risk. All prices and notations must be in ink or typewritten. No erasures will be permitted. In the event that subcontract is awarded in response to this RFQ, the below Statement of Work, provisions and set forth Terms & Conditions will be incorporated in their entirety into the subcontract and become an integral part of the subcontract when the subcontract is accepted by the subcontractor, either by acknowledgement or commencement of performance. Winning bid will be required to provide an active DUNS # and also provide proof that they are registered in the Central Contract Registration. Irrespective of winning bidder; ETR/IJCC reserves the right, and will have final approval of any and all vendors, associates, or subcontractors to provide services to the center.
