Description

November 2011 Winter Nursery in the southern hemisphere approximately Latitude: 43 degrees South, Longitude 172 degrees East, in the area of Irwell, New Zealand. Winter Nursery to advance generations of barley germplasm. 1. Must meet our planting and harvesting dates; 2. Must be located in a country that is conducive to seed import/export requirements; 3. Must have a proven track record of seed purity; 4. Must have proper climate to meet our planting target dates; 5. Must plant, irrigate and maintain winter nursery, including application of herbicides, pesticides and fertilizer per specifications supplied by scientist at the time of award.
