Description
The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office intends to procure Oracle Support for the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS). The following licenses require one year updates and support: -Advanced Security Processor License -Label Security Processor License -Partitioning Processor License -Tuning Pack Processor License -Diagnostics Pack Processor License -Oracle Database Enterprise Edition Named User Plus License -Advanced Security Name User Plus License -Label Security Named User Plus License -Tuning Pack Named user Plus License -Diagnostics Pack Named User Plus License -Oracle Database Enterprise Edition Processor License The proposed procurement is being processed on a brand name basis with Oracle and authorized resellers pursuant to section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996, as implemented by FAR 13.501(a). The proposed action will result will result in a firm fixed price purchase order. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within seven days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
