Description

Contractor shall establish and operate, in the contractor's name, the food service facilities(cafeteria) at the Minton-Capehart Federal Building, 575 N. Pennsylvania Street, Indianapolis, IN for the purpose of dispensing food, nonalcoholic beverages and such other items as may be authorized by the Contracting Officer, in accordance with all terms and conditions specified in the solicitation. The cafeteria is to be operated for the benefit of approximately 800 employees, who will be occupants of the above referenced building. The Government shall not be held responsible for any variation from this employee population figure, since the extent of occupancy is not guaranteed. Operation includes full breakfast and luncheon. The Government contemplates a five(5) year base contract with 2 five(5) year options. The Government will waive rent and repair costs for existing Government owned equipment during the life of the contract. This procurement is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 722310 - Food Service Contractors with a size standard of $35.5 million. Proposals will be evaluated on a variety of factors including but not limited to: past performance, experience, and menu. The solicitation will be available on or about November 2, 2011. The solicitation will be available for download through the Federal Business Opportunities website ( www.fbo.gov ). Offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and monitoring FBO for amendments(if applicable). Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database ( http://www.ccr.gov ) and the Online Representations and Certifications Applications (http://orca.bpn.gov).
