- THIS SYNOPSIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWC-AD) (2.5.1.3) Patuxent River, MD 20670-1127 intends to negotiate a cost plus fixed fee contract on a sole source basis with American Electronics, Inc. (AMELEX), 44423 Airport Rd, California, Maryland 20619, which provides facilities management team support to Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWC-AD) Research and Engineering (4.0). This is an interim effort to provide services to AIR-4.0 pending a competitive award. This requirement is anticipated to have a level of effort of 29,940 man-hours. The anticipated period of performance is 09 January 2012 through 09 October 2012. This action is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) as cited in FAR 6.302-1, 'Only one responsible source and no other supplied or services will satisfy agency requirements.
