Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Reference N61340-12-T-0006 Request for Quotation (RFQ) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-53. No set-aside is applicable to this procurement as the government expects a single source response to the synopsis. The NAICS code for this procurement is 561920. Requirement: The Government requires the development of graphics, signs and displays, coordination and preparation of displays, warehouse services necessary for inventory, storage and retrieval of displays, and the transportation and installation and dismantling of all displays for exhibits at the 2011 Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) to be held 28 November 2011 through 01 December 2011 at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC). Single Source Identified: Global Experience Specialists, Inc. -Preparation, coordination and scheduling of transportation and installation, dismantling and storage of all displays. -Design and development of (6) new logos/signs. -Warehouse services to include: inventory, inspection, packaging, repairs as needed, modifications before and after use of displays for conference. -Transportation to and from OCCC, delivery required by 25 November 2011. -Installation and dismantling of displays to include required materials and supervision. Global Experience Specialists, Inc. (GES) built the subject displays and exhibit and are the only known source with the technical data required for proper installation and dismantling of the exhibit and displays. Additionally, GES is the only known source with the required materials, tools, replacement parts and technical data necessary for timely repairs. See attached sole source justification. All responsible sources may submit a capabilities statement, which shall be considered by the agency. The Government solely for the purpose of determining whether to initiate a competitive procurement will consider all capabilities statements received. Technical capability will be determined solely on the content and merit of the information submitted in response to this provision. Therefore, it is incumbent on the interested party to provide sufficient technical literature, documentation, etc. in order for the Government to make an adequate technical assessment. The Government reserves the right to process the procurement on a sole source basis based upon the responses received. The Government will not pay for any information received. Quantity: Design, installation, dismantling, transportation, design, development and related required services. Delivery: Delivery and set-up required by 25 November 2011, pick-up required 01 December 2011. Intended period of performance: 25 November 2011 through 07 December 2011.
