- Description
- This Solicitation is a "SOURCES SOUGHT" only. All vendors who are interested must have an active Cage Code Number, and registered in ORCA (Representations and Certifications). The Specifications are the following: 1. Must be in a shockproof tube filled with insulating oil and hermetically sealed. 2. Must provide a broad spectrum of X-Rays at a short target to sample distance. 3. Must have a Maximum voltage rating of 75 Thousand Volts, at 40 milli-ampers. 4. X-Rays must be produced the longitudinal axis of the tube. 5. Must use a thin 0.127 millimeter thick beryllium window. 6. Must use a Rhodium Target Material. 7. Must have full-umbra coverage of 1 inch diameter, with specimen at 1 inch from beryllium window. 8. Must have a focus spot of 15 millimeters by 5 millimeters Toroidal. 9. Must use a water cooled Toroidal tungsten filament and target. 10.Must be able to produce continuous operation up to 3,000 Watts.
