- The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) expects to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for interior renovation of New York City office space located at 140 Broadway, New York, NY. The NAIC code for this procurement is 236220 and the small business size standard is $33.5 million. This procurement is 100% unrestricted and is not a set-aside. The estimated price range is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. This will be a phased project and the total estimated period of performance will be approximately six months. The renovated space is located in a commercial office building. CFTC currently occupies all of the 20th floor (24,343 RSF) and part of the 19th floor (15,020 RSF). CFTC will immediately expand into approximately 7,074 RSF on the 18th floor and in May of 2012 expand into approximately 15,073 RSF on the 18th and 19th floors. CFTC plans to renovate the expansion space and also make modifications to existing space. This will be a negotiated procurement conducted under FAR Part 15 procedures. CFTC intends to award one contract for a firm fixed price to the Offeror who is determined to be the best value to the Government. CFTC anticipates issuing the solicitation on or about November 14, 2011. The solicitation will be available on this website. Specifications and drawings will be made available to potential Offerors after the solicitation has been posted. In order to receive a copy of the drawings and specifications, Offerors must submit a request referencing the solicitation number and include (1) a completed nondisclosure form (to be provided with the solicitation) and (2) a copy of a valid contractor's license. Completed requests may be submitted to ngraham@cftc.gov. It is expected that specifications and drawings will be provided via an FTP website. Bid bonds and payment/performance bonds will be required.. A mandatory site visit will be required. The date and time and other logistical information regarding the site visit will be included in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency.
