- The National Park Service, Department of the Interior, is soliciting offers from firms having the capability to perform the work described below. This solicitation will be issued electronically on the Department of Interior's National Business Center (NBC) website at https://ideasec.nbc.gov. No other notifications will be sent.Issue Date: November 8, 2011Closing Date: 2:00 PM CST December 8, 2011Solicitation Number: P12PS40034Title of Project: Replace Generator Building RoofDescription: This project involves removal and disposal of existing bituminous build-up roofing, gravel, and rigid insulation down to metal substrate. Replace rusted sections of metal decking with new 22 gauge steel courses, prime, and paint; remove peeling paint from steel decking and ceiling joists, prime, and paint. Furnish and install new, watertight, fully adhered, fully insulated, single-ply, reinforeced, PVC thermoplastic membrane roofing system and two, watertight, 21' diameter tubular skylights. Included in the scope is masonry cleaning and repair. A scheduled site visit has been established for November 16, 2011 at 9:00 am CST. Kick off meeting will be held in the Old Courthouse 1st Floor Conference Room located at 11 North 4th St., St. Louis, MO 63102.Type of Procurement: A firm fixed price contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation.Estimated Range: Less than $25,000Time for Completion: 120 calendar days after receipt of Notice to ProceedSet-Aside: This requirement is set-aside for Small Businesses.
