Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source M67854-12-T-5009 Hydraulic Excavator Marine Corps Systems Command intends to negotiate and award on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) with West Side Tractor Sales Co. (DBA West Side Specialised Services); 1400 W Ogden Avenue; Naperville, IL 60563-3909. The Government has a need for: Item DescriptionPart NumberQuantity Replace Hydraulic Thumb PinsAT33995 and T2294842 each Modify Arm Hydraulic PlumbingSee Bill of Material (BOM)1 each Pile Driver HitchC9126178 each Parts Kits to Replace Hydraulic Thumb in TheaterAT33995 and T2294848 each In support of the Urgent Universal Needs Statement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in responding to this notice; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to meet the requirements and past performance data no later than 3:00pm local time on 7 November 2011. All documents should be submitted to Ms. Ebony M Guest, Contract Specialist, at ebony.guest@usmc.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open basis is solely within the discretion of the Government. No telephone calls will be accepted.
