Description
All quotations must be received via e-mail no later than 7 November 2011 at 1500 hours Central European Time. All questions pertaining to this RFQ must be in writing and submitted via e-mail and received by the Regional Contracting Office - Vicenza, Italy not later than 1500 hours on 4 November 2011). No telephonic request will be entertained. All responses to questions will be emailed by way of an amendment to this combined synopsis/solicitation to all prospective quoters. The email addresses for submission of all quotations and questions is lucinda.s.archer@eur.army.mil. All questions must be addressed only to the individual listed above. The Solicitation Number W912PF0103763 is issued as a RFQ and the award will be a Firm Fixed Price. *This is NOT an order. ALL quotes are due by 7 November at 1500 hours CENTRAL EUROPEAN time via email. This document is not legally binding and does not obligate the U.S. Government in anyway. Offerors are required to quote a firm-fixed price for each CLIN based on the quantities listed. Please provide your quote in U.S. dollars. Line itemDescription 0001 To satisfy the needs of the requiring activity, the airdrop systems must have the following characteristics: 1) the systems must be expendable (i.e., not reusable/left in place), 2) the systems must have already been tested by the US Military and determined to be usable by the US military, and 3) the System must be deployable from aircraft currently utilized by the MDF/MAF, both fixed and rotary wing. In particular, the system must have been demonstrated by US Department of Defense testing to fit inside and be deployed from a Mi-24 helicopter and a DC-9/BT-67 aircraft (or like air frames). The system must be demonstrated by US DoD testing to be able to deliver a payload of at least 40 lbs/18.2 kg. The system must be deployable by static line and or hand.
