- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Portland District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has a requirement for a ROVER Gate Attendant Services for the Pine Meadows and Schwarz Park Campgrounds. The Pine Meadows Campground is located on Cottage Grove Lake, approximately 10 miles from the town of Cottage Grove. The Schwarz Park is located below Dorena Dam next to the Row River, approximately 8 miles from the town of Cottage Grove. The successful offeros shall be providing services at both campgrounds during the seasonal work period. Interested offerors may view and/or download the RFQ and all Amendments ONLY from the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at the following internet address: www.fbo.gov. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the FBO website (using the above link) for changes, announcements, or Amendments to the RFQ. The current anticipated quote due date is Wednesday November 16, 2011. The specific due date, time, and location for quote submission will be identified in the RFQ. Unless specifically requested or authorized by Amendment, no corrections and/or changes to quotes will be allowed after the submission date and time. THIS ACQUISITION SHALL BE COMPETED AS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The contract shall be awarded to the offeror that is technically qualified and has the lowest price. location of service. OFFERORS ARE REMINDED TO CAREFULLY READ NOT ONLY THE GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK, BUT ALSO THE SITE-SPECIFIC SCOPES OF WORK. Use of Federal Business Opportunities website requires prior registration in both the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Federal Business Opportunities databases. You may register with CCR at http://ccr.gov/. Once you've completed the CCR registration, you may register in FBO at www.fbo.gov.
