- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The requirement is for BOSE Headphones - Brand Name only. Brand name justification in file. The solicitation will be posted on the Army Single Face to Industry and may be accessed at http://acquisition.army.mil. The NAICS code is 334119. The size standard is 500 employees. The solicitation is issued 100% set aside for small business. Commercial Items Provisions and clauses in accordance with FAR Part 12 are applicable to this requirement. In accordance with DFARS 52.204-7004 regarding Central Contractor Registration (CCR), prospective contractor(s) must be registered in the CCR data base prior to award of contract. Prospective contractors may register electronically via website: www.ccr.gov. The due date for offers is 4:00PM Eastern Standard Time, 14 November 2011. Offerors shall be responsible for checking for possible amendments to solicitation until it closes. Offers may be submitted electronically via Army Single Face to Industry.
