- The Louis Stokes VA Medical Center (LSVAMC), 10701 E. Blvd Cleveland, OH 44106, intends to procure for the Cardiology Department via sole source for (24) catheter kits dragon fly style. The Cardiology Department believes that this requirement can only be provided by ST. Jude Medical. The C7 Dragonfly catheter provides unprecedented magnification and detail in intravascular imaging. Using Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), the C7 Dragonfly emits near-infrared light for a data sampling rate of 100 MB per second to produce real-time, ultra-high definition images. Combined with the ILUMIEN or C7-XR OCT intravascular imaging systems, the C7 Dragonfly offers a new standard for lesion assessment, classification and diagnosis. The catheter required must be capable of the following: A.Non-occlusive flush action eliminates the need for occlusion balloon B.Extreme Resolution imaging based on OCT technology C.Low-profile mini rail tip for fast placement D.Hydrophilic coating reduces drag E.Dual marker bands for precise positioning F.Compatible with standard 0.014" steerable guide wires G.Imaging speed up to 25 mm per second The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334510 - Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing. Small Business size Standard is 500 Employees. This announcement of the intent to sole source is NOT a request for proposals, quotes, or bids. No formal solicitation document will be forthcoming. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit product information in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely in the discretion of the Govt.
