Description
0002 - This amendment is issued to answer questions that were received from industry, to post the Site Visit Sign-in Sheets, and to correct the CLIN Structure. Offerors are required to use Attachment 1 - "Revised CLIN Structure," for your price proposals. All proposals are due on Monday, 28 November 2011 at 12:00 PM Noon Mountain Standard Time (MST). Question 1: In Paragraph 3 of the CSS that refers to a "size standard of $7 million dollars", if this is an unrestricted solicitation is this statement relevant? Answer 1: Even though, it is unrestricted we are required to follow the format and procedures of the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (CCS) under Subpart 12.6, which requires us to include any set-aside and the associated NAICS code and small business size standard. Question 2: Do you have a map or plan of the utility system at Yuma Proving Ground? Answer 2: Yes, but the map of the utility systems at USAYPG will be provided to the successful company once the contract is awarded. Question 3: Who is paying for the fuel for the generators? Answer 3: The Directorate of Public Works pays for the fuel for the generators. Question 4: Is there a place we could put an office trailer on post? Answer 4: No. Question 5: Can you provide a schedule of the number of corrective repairs made to the collection system during the current contract? Answer 5: There are 37 service orders that have occurred from FY06 to present. The extent of the service orders are as followed: repair and/or replace pumps, controllers, contactors, floats, flow meters, circuit breaker hour meters, storage batteries for solar flow meter, bird wires, erosion repair, guide rails, lids. Question 6: Can you provide the complete CLIN schedule with amounts of the current contract? Answer 6: The Government can provide the amounts of the CLINs that were establish at the time of award this is public knowledge; however, it cannot provide the current running costs of the contract. Note: The CLIN structure of this requirement differs from the CLIN structure used at the time of award featured in Attachment 2 called "03C0003 CLIN Structure."
