- SOLICITATION ISSUE DATE: 12/01/2011. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to repair three (03) timber piles severely deteriorated by marine borer activity, wrapping twenty-five unaffected piles, and incidental related work at Coast Guard Sector Southeastern New England, Woods Hole, MA 02543 (Barnstable County). Solicitation packages will be available on or about 01 December 2011. The tentative date for receipt of proposals is 04 January 2012 at 4:00 pm local time. Estimated cost of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. NAICS code is 237990 with a size standard of $33.5 million. Due to base security requirements, Contractors will be required to register for the site visit. Site visitation dates will be provided in the solicitation. This is a best value procurement. Offerors must possess past performance/experience in waterfront repairs. This acquisition is issued pursuant to FAR Part 15, and in accordance with FAR Part 19.5 is 100% set-aside for small business concerns.
